1981	Nestlé^® and L'Oréal^® form a joint venture to become the world’s leading dermatology company. Galderma^® is born.
1989	Galderma Canada Inc., a Galderma affiliate, opens for business with a portfolio of 4 brands; Benzac^®, Cetaphil^®, Nutraderm^®, Desocort^®.
1995	MetroGel^® acquisition expands company portfolio to 5 brand offerings.
1996	Line extension of MetroCream^®. Company portfolio enhanced to 6 brands with the launch of Differin^® Gel, first new generation retinoid in 20 years. Acquired Wyeth-Ayerst plant in Montreal to develop a state-of-the-art manufacturing pharmaceutical facility.
1997	Cetaphil expands skin care line to 4 products with launches of moisturizing lotion, cream and bar offerings.
1998	Differin franchise extended with the entry of Differin^® Cream.
2000	Montreal pharmaceutical manufacturing plant opens, servicing world-wide Galderma affiliates. Acquisition of Capex^® Shampoo increased company portfolio to 6 unique brands. Cetaphil expands cleanser line to include Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser.
2001	Cetaphil launches broad spectrum UVA/UVB facial moisturizer, Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15.
2004	Clobex^® Shampoo added to company brand portfolio. Cetaphil Barrier Cream added to moisturizing line of skin care products. Metro franchise extended with the launch of MetroLotion^®.
2005	Clobex^® Lotion debut to compliment Clobex line of products.
2006	Entered into sales and marketing agreement with Ombrelle^® (L’Oreal^®).
2007	Multiple line extensions augment existing brand; Differin^® XP^TM, Clobex^® Spray, MetroGel^® 1%. Entered into sales and marketing agreement with Elidel^® (Novartis^®).
2008	Cetaphil unveils Cetaphil Acne Principles^TM, a 3 step Acne Fighting System.
2009	Cetaphil introduces highest UVA/UVB daily facial moisturizer, Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 50. With the approval of Metvix™ methyl aminolevulinate cream (in combination with specific red light illumination), a new Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) business emerges.
2010	Cetaphil launches RESTORADERM™ skin care line with advanced and patented technologies, specifically formulated for eczema-prone skin.
